For local or international rape crisis hotlines click here or scroll down. You can call the National Sexual Assault Hotline, operated by RAINN in the US, 24 hours a day at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673). RAINN will automatically refer you to a local hotline operator. To choose which USA crisis center you contact look up the number here. To call a hotline in the UK or internationally just look up the local rape crisis center here and dial the hotline direct. Feel free to request to speak to a person of your gender. RAINN now hosts an online IM counseling service. Message boards are recommended as a good first step if you are not ready to talk. Information on Reporting is available here.
